[am-l10n] SCIM with Amharic Success?

Menasse,

I think you were trying out the SCIM XIM with Joerg's Amharic file,
did it work for you?  I tried with the latest SCIM under Mandrake 10
(GNOME 2.4, KDE 3.2) and it rejected the Amharic.bin without any
explanation ("can not load...") I had the same trouble when trying
to compile the Amharic table from source.

If it has worked for you, let us know know under which version of
SCIM, XFree86, Linux, etc.  I'll try to tweak the source during the
week to get it working.
