ahh.. but getting someone to quit smoking is doing them a big favor isn't it? ;-)

Tegegne, nice to see you back and congradulations on getting the patch created.
It never hurts to ask, ask and you might get, don't ask and you surely won't.
I'm not setup to compile on windows either, you might look into Cygwin if no
one has suggested it yet.

Sorry to have gone quiet for a couple of months. I disappeared here while fighting
a number of l10n fires but now am getting free to get back to translation. One
activity that came up that would be of interest here was an effort to standardise
some ISO terminologies. I think the draft data can also be the start of our
"Amharic Software Glossary", please have a look here and send any feedback:

In this time a volunteer has also enhanced the PHP database files, its waiting on
me to review them and set them up. This is great, I think it will be easy to finish
the DB issues during the winter season.

Other updates that I'm aware of: Essete has completed a translation of the anaconda
package and Alex found someone to help type up some words from the "Fofi" book. Alex,
I still haven't gotten to installing Mandrake 10.1 but hope to soon, have you had
any response on it?

cheers,

/Daniel
