I am glad to see you take the lead here and setup the Amharic Ubuntu site.  I
think it will be a good goal if we try to have a complete Amharic Ubuntu release
by the year 2000.  

I will learn my way around Ubuntu this week, also Rosetta, then I can better
discuss how I can help out the effort. The keyboard side I think is something
I can definitely work on.
